My recent stay at In The Wind Hostel And Guesthouse was a mixed experience. On one hand, the hostel provided a well-equipped kitchen, which was convenient for preparing meals. The interior was also colorful and added a pleasant vibe to the place.

There were a few drawbacks during my stay. The rooms were small and noisy, and the lack of blankets left me feeling cold throughout the night.

The location of the hostel is great, within walking distance of many great bars and bus-stops. It's also close to shops, making it convenient for any needs you may have. the staff is friendly and helpful, providing tips for transportation and giving clear directions. the downstairs shower is amazing, one of the best in Central America, and the breakfast is delicious. the free WiFi is reliable throughout the building, and there's plenty of free coffee available.

There is no table in the dorm room, which can be inconvenient who need a quiet place to sit and write.

We had a great time staying at this hotel! Best aspects were the location - close to the San Pedro mall, downtown buses, shops, and restaurants; and the friendly staff. The breakfast was also delicious and the hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained.

Worst aspects? Don't have any issues at all!

The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk to bars, restaurants, and nightlife. the bus station to San José is really close, and it takes just 15 minutes to get to downtown. the staff is friendly and helpful, and the owner speaks three languages. the hostel has a laid-back atmosphere.

Felt cared for, nothing too much trouble.

The hostel has a great staff, always ready to help and give valuable information. The rooms are well-maintained and very clean. The location is quite convenient, close to interesting places to visit and public transportation. The hostel's kitchen is well equipped and clean, and it was great to cook our own meals.

The bed linen was worn out and dated while some pillows and mattresses were past their prime. Although some room sizes were smaller than expected, with outside noise a bit of an issue, the hostel's staff did a great job at providing earplugs.

This hostel is conveniently located with easy access to regular buses for downtown San Jose, making it a great choice for business travelers. The location is also situated between the coasts, allowing for convenient travel to both ends of the country. Additionally, it is near the bars and restaurants of San Pedro, which is the place to be in San Jose. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with bright murals adding a vibrant touch to the space. The kitchen is well-equipped and clean, perfect for preparing meals.

The hostel could benefit from providing a few more cups and spoons in the cooking facilities.

The beds had personal charging ports, lights, and privacy partitions, which made for a comfortable stay. Lastly, the location of the hotel was perfect. It was in the best area of the city, with easy access to all the attractions and amenities.

All in all, everything was fine and I didn't have any major issues.

The hostel is conveniently located close to regular buses for downtown San Jose. There are also many restaurants and shops nearby, which makes it a great place for an evening stroll and a chat. the well-equipped kitchens and good hot showers make for a comfortable stay. the staff is pleasant and accurate in providing travel information, and the ambiance is nice and quiet.

The rooms lack some necessary facilities, such as a table to sit and write in the dorm room and blankets in some cases, making it hard for low-budget travelers to have a comfortable stay.

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic! Situated in the heart of San José, it offers easy access to the University of Costa Rica, Mall San Pedro, and the vibrant party zone. You'll find everything you need within a short distance, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. Additionally, the staff here are super friendly and always willing to help. From the helpful receptionist, Sara, who swiftly assisted me with all my queries, to the jolly owner, Marco. Another thing I loved about this hotel was the attention to detail and cleanliness. The rooms were well taken care of and the frequent cleaning ensured that everything was in order. The basic amenities provided were more than enough, and having a room with a window towards the road added a nice touch of natural light. Lastly, the price-to-quality ratio at this hotel is amazing. I felt like I got great value for my money, and the breakfast, although not specified, was a delightful surprise. With all these positive aspects, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking tranquility and convenience in the city.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was just fine.

During my stay at In The Wind Hostel And Guesthouse, I was impressed with the convenient location near public transportation and attractions. The hostel provided a safe and secure environment, with enough storage options for my valuables. The bunk beds were comfortable and thoughtfully equipped with privacy curtains, lights, and plug sockets. I also appreciated the well-equipped and clean kitchens, as well as the delicious breakfast of pancakes and fruit. The hot showers were a welcome relief, especially in the cooler climate of San Jose.
